Book Club is an Eastside High School organization which exists to promote students' love of literature in a positive and fun environment, foster engaging discussion and debate, and strengthen conversation and public speaking skills among its members. 

Goals of our Club:

• Promote a sense of community built on a shared love of literature

• Strengthen students' interest in and love for reading 

• Foster mastery of reading, thinking, and discussion skills

• Encourage and improve student attendance, as students must maintain good attendance and behavior records in order to attend club field trips 

• Engage in fun, meaningful, and immersive experiences to help enrich our love for reading and our desire to build a readerly community
