Principal’s Message

It is with great excitement and enthusiasm that we write this letter as the principal and assistant principal of J. W. Adams Combined School.  We are  honored to have the privilege to lead a school with such wonderful students, an extremely devoted staff, and a supportive school community.  There is no place like J. W. Adams. 

As we start the school year, our deepest desire is to ensure that every student at J. W. Adams has a very successful school year.  The faculty and staff here at the school are motivated to support you.  We have amazing teachers who will work hard and provide you with everything you need to achieve academic success and to grow socially.   These dedicated educators create classrooms that are safe and conducive to student learning.  They encourage engagement in learning as they teach a curriculum that is aligned with our state standards.  We pride ourselves on knowing each of our students and believe because we focus on these relationships, our students will learn at the highest levels.  Our students will always come first in all decisions. 

The research data shows that students will have the greatest potential for success if support measures are in place at home.  Because these relationships between families and the school are vital to the achievement of our students,  we encourage you to become involved in every way possible.  Mrs. Taylor and Mrs. Balthis are very excited to be a part of the wonderful things happening at J. W. Adams.
