Our Code 3 schedule is a virtual learning day for students.

Santa’s Workshop is Coming to CPS!!
Santa’s Workshop is coming to Coeburn Primary School. If you want your child to be able to purchase Christmas Gifts for family and friends, you may send money with them to school. There is nothing in the workshop over $5.00 per item.
The workshop will be open 8:30 – 3:00 Monday thru Friday, 12-4 thru 12-8-23. Students will shop during their resource time and adults will be available to help them.

This evening, Monday, November 20, at 6:30 pm, the Virginia Board of Education is hosting a listening session to give parents, educators, and community members the opportunity to learn more about the Board’s creation of new accountability measurements for Virginia’s public schools, as well as provide an opportunity for the public to discuss their expectations for the upcoming accountability measurements.
This will be the first chance for Southwest Virginians to weigh in on the issue, and I encourage you to share this information with your parents, educators and stakeholders in your area.

The Special Education Advisory Committee will have an in person meeting on Thursday, September 14, 2023 @ 10am. This meeting is open to the public and will be held at the Education Center at the Wise County School Board Office. All staff and parents of private school students, as well as parents of home-schooled students, are invited to participate.

CPS loves our Grandparents & we want to celebrate you! Please sign up no later than Friday, September 1.
Starting September 5th, CPS will start rewarding students on Friday for being at school EVERY day of each week.
If a student is at school every day each week, on time, and not checked out, Their name will be entered into a spin wheel on Friday and 10 students (maybe more depending on the number of prizes we have) will receive a special prize.
Students who are at school each and every day for an entire week and have only excused checkouts or tardies will receive a brag tag for their necklace on Fridays.
Monday, August 7, 2023 is 1/2 day. Breakfast and a lunch will be served. Dismissal will begin at 12:10 pm.
