Emory & Henry College invites students to attend the Blue & Gold Open House this Saturday, September 17. Visit and meet with academic departments, tour campus, meet with current students, enjoy lunch on us, and stay for the football game against Newberry . Register at www.ehc.edu/visit or contact E&H Admissions.

The Lifetime Sports Club will be taking a field trip to the Basler Team Challenge and Aerial Adventure Course on the campus of ETSU on October 5th. The bus will leave at 7 AM and return by the end of the school day. Waivers can be picked up in the guidance office. Space is limited. Turn in your waiver and your $20 fee early to ensure your spot.

The Horizons Club sponsors have sent an invitation to all members that paid their Horizons Club dues, to join the Google Classroom group. If you paid you dues, please check your email to join the group. If you still want to join, drop by room 103 to pay your $5 dues this week.

FCCLA is sponsoring our first blood drive of the year on September 21.
Please sign up with Mrs. Sutherland in room 102. You must be 17 or older to donate blood. Also, if you donate 3 times over the course of your high school career, you will receive a Hero Cord to wear for graduation. If you donate 5 times over the course of your high school career, you will receive a Super Hero Cord to wear for graduation.

Representatives from MECC will be at Eastside on October 11th to help students complete the FAFSA. This is for ALL COLLEGE BOUND students planning to attend ANY COLLEGE. Please stop by guidance to sign up for an appointment.

There will be a College Fair on the UVA Wise Campus in the Convocation Center on September 12, 2022 at 6:30 PM.
"Join us for a college fair hosted by the Virginia Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers on September 12. The Association chose UVA Wise to debut the Southwest Virginia leg of their tour which gives college-bound students the opportunity to learn about UVA Wise as well as other colleges. Walk-ins are welcome at this event, which begins at 6:30 p.m. in the David J. Prior Convocation Center."
