2025 Union P-Nut Cheer Cheer sign-ups will be on the following dates at Bullit Park: June 8th 3:00-5:00 June 21st 3:00-5:00 July 10th during the football draft. No sign-ups will be taken after July 10th to have time to prepare for the season. Cost to register will be $35 per girl. Ages: 1st Grade through 7th Grade We will be splitting the girls into two age groups this year: Crunch Bunch- 1st-4th Grades P-Nut- 5th-7th Grades Practice will start the week of July 14th.

Good morning UMS and Happy Yearbook Day. Students will get their yearbooks in gym today if you purchased. We sold out. I cannot believe it's the last week of school. The days are long and the years are short! Attendance is still taken all week. Please be at school.

Due to the severe weather passing through Wise County, our buses may be delayed leaving the schools. The safety of our students is our top priority and the buses will leave the school when it is deemed safe to do so by local authorities. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Anyone currently in 7th or 8th grade interested in trying out for JV or Varsity cheer - there is a mandatory parent meeting Wednesday at 5:30pm in the UHS cafeteria. Tryouts will be May 19th-21st.

Hello again, I am pretty sure that the dates on the football draft are supposed to be 2025, but I just copied straight from the flyer. But I bet it's supposed to be that you have to be 7yo before 8/1/25 and cannot be 13yo before 7/1/25.

The UMS Spring Art Show is this Thursday and Friday at the Big Stone Gap Visitor Center! Any student who has been in art class this semester will have at least one piece of artwork displayed. The show will be open Thursday 4-6 pm and Friday 5-7 pm. This is not a competition, just an exhibit. This is a chance for friends and family to come and see the students' hard work!
