Wise County Public Schools will operate on a Code 3 Schedule on Friday, January 7, 2022.
Code 3 - Virtual Learning Day. Students and employees will work from home. Instruction will begin at 10:00 am and will follow the Virtual Learning Day Schedule. 12 Month Employees will be on call to report to work as needed.

Due to the inclement weather that impacted our area, tomorrow (1/4/2022) will be a Teacher Work Day for WCPS.
We will welcome our students back on Wednesday, January 5, 2022.
Teachers will begin their work day tomorrow at 9:30am and Paraprofessionals will not report until Wednesday since tomorrow is replacing today's teacher workday.
Wise County Public Schools wishes all our students, faculty, staff, and families a Happy Holiday Season! We will be closed for Winter Break and will welcome our students back on January 4, 2022 to begin our 2nd semester!

In anticipation of upcoming virtual school days resulting from inclement weather (following winter break), the Food Services Program will be sending home with students 2 days of meals.
JWAC will send meals home with students on Wednesday, December 15th, all other schools will send meals on Thursday, December 16th.
