Good Morning Union!

Happy Birthday this weekend to Kaylee Chandler and Summer Clasby.  Happy Birthday this weekend to Matthew Wilder and Julian Lomax. 

Attention Students: The theme for tonight's benefit game against East Side is Hawaiian Night.  Dress in your best Hawaiian style and come sit in the student section next to the band and help cheer on the bears. Any high school student is welcome and encouraged to attend. 

Anyone who received an invitation to the National Honor Society needs to talk to Ms. Holmes if they have any questions. Dues are to be turned in to Ms. Holmes.

The UVA-Wise campus tour is now full.

Any 10th or 11th grade student interested in taking the PSAT on Wednesday, October 13th, please come by the guidance office and sign up.

Seniors who picked up the US Senate Youth Program scholarship information need to see Mrs. Salyer.

Students, please be mindful of the dress code. Moving forward, violations of the dress code will be addressed.

Are you an open-minded person that wants to bring acceptance, kindness, and positivity to those around you?  Then the Voices of Union Club is for you!  We will have our first meeting this Wednesday after school in the Art Room and it will last until 4:30.  If you have any questions, or are interested in joining, but cannot attend the first meeting, please see Mrs. Davis.  We look forward to seeing you there! 

Union High School would like to announce a new club: The Black Student Union! We will meet every week on Thursday mornings. Our Mission is create a place to support and listen to the experiences of African- American  students in our school. You don't have to be black to join. This club is not exclusionary, but Racism will absolutely not be tolerated. See you there. 

Good Luck to the Varsity Football Team tonight in the Benefit Game against Eastside at Bullitt Park.
