Track practice at 4:00 after school today at the park. Those needing a ride to the track for practice today can get a ride at 3:20 at the bus pick up area.
Have you ever wanted to play a role in a musical? The Summer Arts Academy will be presenting SpongeBob, The Musical this summer, and you are invited to join the fun! The camp begins on June 1, with performances June 24, 25 & 26. It's free, and includes meals and transportation! More information and registration forms are posted outside the chorus room doors. Completed forms can be returned to Mrs. Sorah.

Seniors, Friday, April 1st is the last day to order a senior t-shirt and Wednesday April 6th is the last day to turn in your permission slip and money for the senior trip. If you have any questions or need a form, please contact Mrs. Viers
If anyone would like to donate blood on April 1, please see Ms. Holmes to sign up. You must be at least 17 years old.
Prom tickets will be on sale for the month of March only. Prom tickets will not be sold at the door at prom or after March 31st. The cost of each ticket is $20. You may purchase from Ms. Lewis or Mrs. Schenck. Also, if you are taking a guest that does not go to Union High School, they must be approved. Names may be submitted to Mrs. Schenck or Ms. Lewis. This also must be done by March 31.

Seniors, the Appalachia Alumni Scholarship is now available. You may pick applications up in the guidance office.
Juniors, during the first week of April, Mr. Barker has arranged many job shadowing opportunities. You may stop by room 115 to see the list of businesses available. Job shadowing opportunities will be on a first come-first serve basis.
Applications for summer Governor’s School are available in the guidance office. If you are a dual enrollment student working towards an Associate’s degree, please stop by and inquire about the governor’s school classes.
Seniors, if you are interested in becoming a CNA or interested in other job opportunities with Ballad Health, please check your google classroom for information. Recent scholarship opportunities have been posted in the senior Google Classroom. Please look for information for the Blankenship/ Justice Scholarship, the Granville P. Meade Scholarship, and the Ryan E. Daugherty Scholarship. There is also a link for many other scholarship opportunities posted.
